THE OUR FATHER:
The Our Father is also known as The Lord's Prayer it can be found in Holy Scripture in either The Gospel of St. Luke or The Gospel of St. Matthew. (Links are provided for each) They differ somewhat in what is said but they are basically the same prayer. Also I have provided a link for the history of how The prayer given at the time of Christ has come to be said now among both Catholics and Protestants.
Our Father,
Who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
